High-Powered Man

For everything there is a beginning, so this is my first entry page for High-Powered Man, my website/slash blog for promoting my High-Powered Networking philosophy. I have been dabbling with social media for a few years, growing it from nothing to a phenomenal global success story, although I am here to dazzle you into signing up.

My largest LinkedIn group is called High Powered Food, Beverage & Hospitality - Foodservice & Retail Executive Networking Jobs, which has just been pre-approved for a 100,000 membership, although quite frankly the sky’s the limit and at this point anything could happen. My mission is to make this the LinkedIn social networking standard for my industry niche.

I am of course referring to a rather interesting industry niche:

Airline Catering – Architects - Bakery - Beer - Beverage – Buyers – Catering - Coffee – Chain Accounts - Chefs - CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) – Convenience Stores - Cruise Liners - Dairy – Equipment – FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) - Food – Foodservice – Frozen – Frozen Yogurt - Head-hunters - Healthcare - Hospitality - Hotels – Ice Cream - Nutrition – Pizza - QSR (Quick Serve Restaurants) – Receptionists – Recruitment - Refrigeration - Restaurants – Soft Serve – Supermarkets – Tea – Wine

As Victor Hugo once said, “all the forces in the world are not so powerful as an idea whose time has come,” which is why I am planting the seed that the High-Powered Philosophy is an amazing place for networking. It is quite possible that I may have left a few segments from my target niche outline up above, but I think that you get the idea about what I hope to achieve.

It is not just about who you know, but who knows you, so joining a LinkedIn group that is pre-approved for 100,000 members is a good starting point. The size of the group with a membership base already in the tens of thousands already illustrates that it is popular, so you need get involved and network to see if this works for you.

You will be reading more about my High-Powered Networking philosophy in the near future.
